About GABA
Our Mission: In Community There Is Strength
GABA is New Zealand’s largest LGBTI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex) membership organisation.
GABA offers its members, organisations and community, a selection of networking and social events with an enjoyable and professional atmosphere.
GABA also works for the community by raising funds for the GABA Charitable Trust, which distributes the funds as grants and scholarships.
Regular events are held throughout the year for GABA members and non-members, including:
GABA Mixers on the first Wednesday of every month
Business After 5 (BA5) events hosted by members to showcase their business
Annual GABA Charity Auction & Luncheon
GABA VIP Marquee at the Big Gay Out
Annual GABA BBQ
